Description
A collection of Lionel Corporation O-gauge model railroad rolling stock centered on the No. 6828 P&H Truck Crane flatcar. The group consists of four flatcars, two truck crane units, and multiple crane boom components. Each flatcar is constructed of molded black plastic with metal wheels and standard Lionel knuckle couplers. Two flatcars carry the P&H truck crane loads, each featuring a yellow cab on a black truck chassis with yellow wheels. The other two flatcars carry black plastic lattice-style boom sections. The flatcars are marked on the side with 6828 LIONEL in white block lettering. The truck crane cabs bear the P&H logo. Included in the lot is one original Lionel cardboard box printed with P&H TRUCK CRANE and a graphic of the model, attributed to The Lionel Corporation of New York, N.Y. Also present is an original parts envelope labeled ASSEM. No. 6828-141, which lists various boom cable supports and outrigger cones.
