Description
This collection consists of (6) Lionel O-gauge model train cars and one locomotive, themed for the New York Central Fire Response Unit and various fire department service operations. The items are constructed with plastic bodies, die-cast metal trucks, and metal wheels and axles. The grouping features several specialized service units, most notably the NYC Firecar and Instruction Car Set (No. 6-11888). This set includes a green motorized NYC Firecar (No. 6-18445) equipped with a Pullmor motor, flashing light, and traction tires, paired with a black NYC Instruction Car (No. 6-19857) featuring Command Control and RailSounds with CrewTalk and TowerCom functionality. Other specialized units in the lot include a yellow Lionel Fire Car with Ladders (No. 6-18660) featuring a rotating red light and a rotating fireman figure; a black Lionel Flatcar with Tank and Ladders (No. 6-18390) carrying a black water tank; a yellow Lionelville Fire Dept. Searchlight Car (No. 6-19858) with a removable searchlight that extends; and a white and red Rescue Caboose (No. 6-26505) marked with red cross symbols and equipped with interior illumination and a flashing red light. All items are housed in their original Lionel orange-and-cream packaging with original manufacturer labels.
