Description
A collection of vintage model train accessories manufactured by The Lionel Corporation of New York and Chicago. This group includes two No. 927 Lubricating and Maintenance Kits housed in their original orange and blue cardboard boxes. The kits contain orange metal cans of LIONEL Cleaner for Model Trains, glass vials of LIONEL Oil for Model Trains, tubes of LIONEL Non-Fluid Lubricant, wooden applicator sticks, brushes, wooden paddles, and cleaning cloths. Two original instructional manuals titled How to Clean and Lubricate LIONEL TRAINS and EQUIPMENT are also included.
The lot features seven No. 260 Illuminated Bumpers constructed from red-painted die-cast metal with internal wiring. Six original cardboard boxes marked No. 260 ILLUMINATED BUMPER LIONEL are present, with one box marked No. 26 and one box featuring a vintage price sticker of $1.50.
The collection includes six No. 70 Lamp Posts featuring black-painted metal bases and silver-tone posts with single hooded lamps. Three original cardboard boxes marked No. 70 LAMP POST LIONEL accompany these items.
Completing the assortment are three Model Railroad Printing Kits. These are housed in original packaging, including one larger white cardboard box with graphics and two smaller boxes featuring a blue-and-white track pattern.
All items and boxes bear the LIONEL brand name and respective model numbers. Packaging includes printed text for THE LIONEL CORPORATION, NEW YORK, MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA, and CHICAGO.
