Description
This lot consists of three vintage O-gauge model train accessories manufactured by The Lionel Corporation. Each item is constructed from a combination of painted tinplate, die-cast metal, and plastic components, and is accompanied by its corresponding remote control switch and original corrugated cardboard box.
The first item is a No. 97 Remote Control Coal Elevator. It features a yellow-painted metal upper bin house with a red roof, supported by a silver-painted metal trestle structure on a black metal base. The unit includes a bucket conveyor system and a discharge chute. It is paired with a brown bakelite remote control switch with a red button and rotary dial. The original box features a yellow label with black text.
The second item is a No. 164 Electric Lumber Loader. This accessory features a green metal base with a sloped ramp, yellow-painted vertical supports, and a red corrugated metal roof. It houses a dual-chain conveyor mechanism designed to transport scale logs. It includes a black remote control switch with a red button and rotary dial. The original box retains its yellow, blue, and white label.
The third item is a No. 165 Remote Control Magnetic Gantry Crane. The crane consists of a silver-painted metal trestle base on a green foundation, topped with a rotating yellow cab with a red roof and a green crane boom. A functioning electromagnet is suspended by cords. It is accompanied by a black remote control switch with dual levers and a rotary dial. The original cardboard box shows significant wear.
