Description
A collection of four Lionel Corporation O-gauge operating train accessories manufactured in the postwar era. The collection includes a No. 497 Coaling Station featuring a red and black plastic structure with a green corrugated roof and a bag of simulated coal. A No. 465 Sound Dispatching Station consists of a red and white plastic building on a light grey base, equipped with a yellow rotating radar antenna, dual speakers, and an interior control panel graphic. The No. 352 Ice Depot Set comprises a brown plastic base with a white icing house and red roof, accompanied by an orange Pacific Fruit Express refrigerator car marked PFE 63521 and BLT 9-55 BY LIONEL, translucent plastic ice cubes, and a No. 90 controller. The No. 264 Operating Fork Lift includes a brown and black plastic base, an orange forklift with driver figure, and a red flatcar marked LIONEL 6264 with a lumber load. All accessories are constructed from plastic, die-cast metal, and tinplate components with associated electrical wiring. Each item is accompanied by its corresponding original cardboard box and several original parts envelopes.
