Description
This collection comprises several trackside structures and signals, including items manufactured by the Lionel Corporation. Included is a Lionel No. 98 Coal House featuring a yellow lithographed tin body with a red roof, mounted on a silver-painted metal trestle framework with a black base and a red-painted ladder. A label on the front of the base identifies the item as N 98 Coal House by The Lionel Corp. Also included is a No. 127 tinplate passenger station building with cream-colored walls and a red roof, bearing a sign marked Lioneltown above the green-trimmed door. The set features no. 45N crossing shanty with a red door and roof mounted on a green metal base, equipped with an adjacent silver-toned crossbuck signal. Two No. 69 diamond-shaped crossing signals are present: one finished in red paint with a silver-toned sign and the other in a dark weathered finish, both featuring text that reads Railroad Crossing and Look Out For Locomotive. Rounding out the group is a No. 93 water tower with a green painted tank, an orange-brown four-legged trestle stand, and a movable metal spout. Construction materials include lithographed and painted tinplate along with die-cast and stamped metal components.
