Description
An assortment of Hornby O gauge model trains and lithographed tinplate accessories manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in England. The collection includes two locomotives in London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) maroon livery: an 0-4-0 tank locomotive numbered 2270 and a larger locomotive numbered 5600, both with matching LMS tenders. A green 0-4-0 clockwork locomotive is also included, accompanied by a matching tender with a heraldic crest. Additional rolling stock consists of two silver Shell petrol tank wagons on red bases, a brown LMS goods van numbered B755480, and a four-wheeled passenger coach in green and red lithography. Three standalone tenders are present, marked Great Western, number 2595, and number 6161. The lot includes several Joytown No. 4 signal boxes with detailed brickwork lithography and Signalmen Only signage. Four original red cardboard Hornby boxes are included for a No. 50 Tender, a No. 30 Goods Van, and two Petrol Tank Wagons.
