Description
This lot consists of two Märklin Gauge 1 model train rolling stock sets in their original window boxes. These 1:32 scale models are constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components.
The first set is Märklin 5871, a Mannesmann flatcar set. It features a pair of coupled flatcars carrying a single large-diameter black pipe load. The pipe is printed with white text reading MANNESMANN and a circular MW logo. The cars are housed in a green Märklin I window box.
The second set is Märklin Maxi 54990, a maintenance-of-way Crane Car Set. This two-car set includes a yellow and black striped crane car marked Kranwagen DB 6804 and a yellow jib support flatcar marked Stuttgart 6709 Kranschutzwagen. The crane features a manually adjustable boom and cable system. This set is housed in a blue Maxi series window box with a sky-themed design and original white foam packing inserts. The box is printed with text indicating the set is a metal model in multiple languages.
