Description
This HO scale model train set features the Crusader streamlined steam locomotive and matching tender manufactured by The Penn Line of Boyertown, Pennsylvania. The set consists of a 4-6-2 Pacific-type locomotive and tender constructed from die-cast metal and sheet metal. Both pieces are finished in a two-tone silver and blue paint scheme. The locomotive side is marked Crusader in stylized script and carries the road number 118 on the cab and front. The tender displays the Reading Lines blue diamond logo and the word READING. The set is housed in its original two-piece blue and white cardboard box featuring a box end label marked Crusader HO GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER with an original price of $44.50. Included documentation consists of the original Assembly Instructions for the Penn Line Crusader HO Gauge Locomotive Kit, a promotional folder titled Presenting the Amazing PENN LINE Crusader, and an illustrated parts/assembly diagram for the Crusader Streamlined Steam Type Pacific.
