Description
This is a Rivarossi HO scale model of a Baltimore and Ohio (B&O) C-16A Class 0-4-0 Dockside switcher locomotive and matching tender, catalog number 21225. Produced as part of the manufacturer’s Serie Modello Oro (Gold Model Series), the set features a uniform, bright gold-toned finish. The locomotive and tender are constructed of die-cast metal or brass. The front number plate of the locomotive is marked with the number 98. The model includes its original red plastic display base and a clear plastic lid with a Rivarossi modello HO label. A gold-toned identification label on the end of the base contains the following text: Serie Modello Oro, 21225, Locomotiva C 40 classe C 16 A della Baltimore and Ohio, Rivarossi Como – Italia. Some cracks in plastic case.
