Description
This is an extensive archive of original printed materials from Gebr. Marklin and Cie. GmbH of Goppingen, Germany. The collection includes a wide variety of paper ephemera such as instructions for care and maintenance, user guides (Gebrauchsanweisung), and technical diagrams. These documents primarily date from the mid-20th century and service both Spur 00 and Spur HO scales. Notable locomotives and sets represented include the CCS 800 Crocodile, DL 800 Twin Unit Diesel, and ST 800 high-speed railcar, along with the RSM 800, SE 800, TM 800, and HR 800/SK 800 series. Accessory documentation features prominently, including guides for the 410 NG turntable, 3600 DKWS double crossing switches, and various Blocksystem signaling components. The items are produced as loose-leaf sheets, fold-outs, and small stapled booklets. The text is multilingual, appearing in German, English, and French.
