Description
A collection of seven hand-assembled and hand-painted miniature scenic diorama pieces attributed to the German manufacturer Preiser. This lot includes an original manufacturer’s informational brochure bearing the Preiser-Figures logo and identifying the origin as Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. The accessories are constructed from composition, wood, plastic, and resin with various scenic landscaping textures including flocking and gravel. The group comprises a ruined castle tower with stone-textured surfaces, a forest landscape featuring three deer figures and a log pile, a woodcutter’s hut with three posed human figures, and a separate log stack. Also included are a rural cottage with a laundry line, a camping scene with rock formations, a tent, and a canoe, and a municipal swimming pool. The swimming pool building features a sign reading STÄDTISCHES SCHWIMMBAD and the pool itself is finished with a translucent resin to simulate water and includes a swimmer figure and diving boards.
