Description
This collection of model railway rolling stock was manufactured by Marklin and is primarily constructed from lithographed tinplate and die-cast metal in HO scale. The collection includes a four-axle postal car (Postwagen) in green livery with a silver-gray roof, marked with the yellow German post horn symbol and the designations 5620Han, Post 4, and 346/5. There is a two-axle flatcar in brownish-red marked DB and 476311, carrying a black industrial pipe load with a yellow label for Mannesmannrohren and the MW logo. Also present is a short two-axle third-class passenger coach in green marked Ci, 18t, and the number 3. The collection is completed by a two-axle olive green baggage or freight van featuring a raised lookout section on the roof and sliding doors. All cars are equipped with standard Marklin loop and hook couplers. Included are two original cardboard boxes with the classic red and white diamond pattern. One box end is factory printed Marklin 346/5 and Made in Germany, while the other box has a handwritten number 461 on the end flap.
