Description
This model railroad accessory was produced by the Italian manufacturer F.E.M. (Fabbrica Elettrotecnica Milanese). The set features a signal cabin, a crossing gate, and a signal post mounted on a rectangular platform. The cabin, fence and base platform are constructed from painted metal. The crossing gate arm is painted with red and white stripes and is operated by a manual lever located on the platform. The signal post features a blue ladder and an upper housing with red and green lenses. Electrical wiring is visible on the reverse of the signal post, indicating the unit was designed for illumination. The item is accompanied by its original heavy cardboard storage box. The box features a manufacturer label on the side with a red circular logo containing the letters F.E.M. within a railroad track border. The label also contains the model number S. 200 and the designation ITVa.
