Description
This lot features a pair of Rivarossi HO scale electric railcar models, manufacturer designation AN 1, modeled after the Italian State Railways FS ALn 772. The railcars are constructed with plastic bodies on metal chassis and finished in a two-tone brown upper and red lower livery. The boxes are printed with the Rivarossi name in a diamond grid pattern and marked Made in Italy. The end flaps are labeled AN 1 and AN 1 T respectively. Accompanying the models is a paper Certificato di collaudo from Como, Italy, specifying model AN 1 with a handwritten serial number 579. Also included is a printed instruction sheet in German titled Gebrauchs-Anweisung für die elektrischen Miniaturen. The railcars feature molded roof details, silver-toned headlights, and clear window glazing. Trailer car box is missing the bottom.
