Description
This four-axle model railroad baggage car, type Pw 4ü, is a Märklin catalog number 19440. It is constructed from painted and lithographed tinplate with stamped metal bogies. The car features two sliding doors on each side, labeled with the characters A and B. The roofline includes a raised clerestory section at one end with simulated ventilation windows and six small ventilators mounted along the top. Exterior details include handrails, end ladders, spring-loaded buffers, and standard loop couplers. The end of the car is marked in gold lettering with MARKLIN and Germany. Side markings include technical data for weight and capacity, as well as the insignia of the Deutsche Reichsbahn featuring an eagle and swastika. The identification number 19440 is printed on the upper side panels. Car is 40 cm long.
