Description
A vintage Märklin O gauge passenger coach, model number 19410 (cataloged on the box as 1941/G), representing a first and second class Eilzugwagen express car. The piece is constructed of lithographed and painted tinplate with a green body and a gray removable roof. The coach features dual articulated two-axle bogies with metal wheels and standard Märklin-style couplers at both ends. The interior is detailed with rows of green seating containing seventeen hand-painted passenger figures in various attire and poses. Visible side markings include the number 19410 above a circular emblem, class 1 and 2 designations, Berlin – Stuttgart destination boards, and compartment labels for Raucher (Smoker) and Nichtraucher (Non-smoker). The bottom frame is marked MARKLIN and includes a date stamp reading Unt. 18.9.43. The end plates are marked MARKLIN and Germany. The item is accompanied by its original plain tan cardboard box featuring a printed paper label marked MARKLIN and handwritten 1941/G notation. Car is 40 cm long.
