Description
This collection consists of several HO scale model railroad freight cars. These models feature die-cast metal construction and authentic railroad liveries for various French networks including SNCF, PLM, and NORD. The cars are accompanied by their original two-piece yellow cardboard boxes with red-bordered lids. One box lid displays a faint pencil inscription for Super Rail, a trade name used by SMCF for their high-end model line.
The assortment includes a brown open gondola car ( # 34) with a simulated coal load marked SNCF NORD; a blue flatcar (#58tu) carrying six black pipes secured with decorative chains marked FRANCE-SNCF Nf 10550 B; a blue flatcar (#647ce) carrying four white storage tanks marked SNCF NNT 53746; a red-brown boxcar (#51) with a dark grey roof and sliding doors marked FRANCE PLM Kvw 114521; and a grey depressed-center heavy-duty car (#49) marked TRANSPORTS SPECIAUX INDUSTRIELS carrying a transformer load labeled for SE SAVOISIENNE AIX-LES-BAINS.
