Description
This set consists of four HO gauge model train freight cars from Vollon et Brun. These mid-20th-century models feature die-cast metal and plastic construction. The collection includes three silver tank cars and one dark brown open gondola.
The first tank car features a silver tank with black lettering for MITJAVILE – MONTBELIARD on a black chassis equipped with an integrated brakeman’s cabin. Side markings include FRANCE, SNCF, and SRY 444990. It is accompanied by a buff-colored cardboard box stamped 38.
The second tank car has a silver tank decorated with a yellow oval SIMOTRA logo on a black chassis. This car is paired with a box faintly stamped 35.
The third tank car is a hopper with ballast with yellowed decals reading SERVICE DU MATERIEL ET TRACTION and RESERVOIR A HUILE. The silver tank on a black chassis is marked FRANCE, SNCF, and SRY 444990. no. 59
The fourth car is a dark brown open gondola or tombereau wagon containing a simulated gravel ballast load. Markings include FRANCE, NORD, Tyw, and 121053. It is paired with a box bearing the handwritten notations 55 and HUV.
