Description
The piece is constructed of gold painted plastic. It is built with an articulated frame supporting a 2-C+C-2 (4-6-6-4) wheel arrangement. The body displays fine detailing including simulated rivet lines, recessed windows, doors with handle relief, and cooling vents. The roof is equipped with two functional, sprung metal pantographs along with detailed insulators and busbars. The undercarriage is highly detailed with simulated brake rigging, pipes, and electrical components. The ends are fitted with buffers and scale-head couplers. FS E428 2nd seris ref. 21444 1965
