Description
This lot features a Rivarossi-manufactured ORO Gold Series HO scale model of a Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Class S-1 Santa Fe type 2-10-2 steam locomotive and its accompanying Vanderbilt-style cylindrical tender. The model is constructed of unpainted brass. The locomotive displays detailed side rods, valve gear, and external plumbing, while the tender includes a simulated coal load. The set is housed in its original red plastic presentation base with a clear acrylic lid, featuring a gold foil manufacturer’s label on one end. Included is the original folded instruction and parts sheet, bearing the catalog number 1255.
