Description
This pair of HO scale model railroad tank cars is attributed to Maerklin, designated as model number 314 G. Each car features a cream-colored tank decorated with red diamond logos and lettering for the Gasolin and Motanol brands. The construction consists of a black-painted chassis, die-cast metal, supporting a tank and a small, reddish-brown brakeman cabin (Bremserhaus) with a black roof. Functional details include a side-mounted access ladder leading to a top loading hatch and walkway. The side sill of each chassis is printed with the model number 314 and technical symbols. Both units are fitted with standard European-style loop and hook couplings and four wheels mounted on two axles. These models represent classic European rolling stock design.
