Description
This miniature architectural model represents a traditional multi-story German commercial building. The structure features a steeply pitched, textured red roof flanked by prominent stepped or crow-stepped gables. The exterior is finished with a cream-colored, heavily textured surface consistent with cast ceramic or plaster construction. The building is identified as a bakery and cafe by two printed signs. The sign on the primary facade reads Brot- und Feinbackerei while the sign on the side facade reads Konditorei und Cafe. The model is detailed with multi-paned windows, several of which are decorated with miniature flower boxes containing red and yellow blossoms. One side of the building is adorned with applied artificial foliage representing a climbing vine. The piece is permanently mounted to a thin, rectangular gray-painted baseplate. No manufacturer marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the exterior or the base. The design and construction are consistent with boutique European ceramic miniatures, likely intended for display or use in HO scale (1:87) model railroad layouts.
