Spring Vintage and Modern Train Auction, ALL ABOARD!
Lot 121:
Description
This lot features two Marklin HO scale model train items, each with its original box. The first item is a Marklin model 4061 American-style F7 diesel locomotive. It is finished in the Union Pacific Armor Yellow and gray livery with red lettering and the road number 337 with a broken horn. The non-powered locomotive is primarily constructed from die-cast metal and features silver-painted trucks. It is presented in a vintage blue and white illustrated box labeled 3061. Note that while the box art depicts a Santa Fe locomotive, the end flap is correctly marked 3061 and bears the handwritten annotation Union Pacific. The second item is a Marklin model 4777 American-style caboose with a cupola. It is finished in Santa Fe (ATSF) red and features the yellow and black Santa Fe logo with road number 999005. The caboose body is constructed of plastic. It is contained in a white and blue windowed box labeled 4777. Both items were manufactured in Western Germany.
