Description
This lot features two O-gauge model train sets produced by Lionel L.L.C. exclusively for the Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) in 2007. The first set is the 1608W Alco Set, model number 6-52423, which includes a New Haven diesel locomotive equipped with a horn. The second set is the NH #209 Add-On Cars, model number 6-52447, containing a 209 B-unit, an East Hartford combine car, and an REA baggage car. The train components are constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and plastic.
Each set is housed in its original decorative box featuring the classic Lionel logo and the slogan An Investment in Happiness! Each set also retains its original brown corrugated outer shipping carton. These outer cartons are marked with Lionel Chesterfield P.O. numbers 942049 and 942050, as well as SKUs 6052423000 and 6052447000. Printed text on the shipping cartons indicates the items were manufactured in China.
