Spring Vintage and Modern Train Auction, ALL ABOARD!

Description
This set was on the desk of Lionel CEO Richard Kughn and has an indentation of his autograph on one box end. This actual train was sold in his personal car rail auction and comprises a Lionel Centennial (1900-2000) O-gauge 700E Hudson steam locomotive, matching tender, and a coordinating caboose. The pieces are constructed from die-cast metal and finished with 24-karat gold and platinum plating. The locomotive, model number 6-28062, is marked with the cab number 1900 and features spoked drivers with metal rims. According to the original manufacturer packaging, the locomotive is equipped with a Pullmor motor, TrainMaster Command control, RailSounds with TowerCom and CrewTalk, a DynaChuff puffing smoke unit, and an operating headlight. The accompanying tender is marked Lionel Lines in black lettering and contains the coal load.
The set also includes a matching gold-plated Lionel Lines caboose, model number 6-17635. The caboose features a die-cast frame and trucks, interior illumination, a smoke unit, and magnetic couplers. Both the locomotive set and the caboose include their original orange and blue Lionel factory boxes. No display box.
