Description
A group of 4 Lionel Postwar operating train accessories, each largely housed within its original cardboard packaging. The lot includes a No. 356 FREIGHT STATION, a No. 455 OIL DERRICK AND PUMPER, a No. 193 WATER TOWER WITH BLINKER LIGHT, and a No. R-352 ICE DEPOT SET. Each box is marked ‘LIONEL TRAINS, ‘ ‘THE LIONEL CORPORATION, ‘ ‘NEW YORK, ‘ ‘CHICAGO, ‘ and ‘MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICA.’ The accessories are constructed from painted metal, plastic, and possibly wood. Specific items include a freight station featuring a ‘RIVAL’ sign, a red-and-white ‘LIONEL ICING STATION’ accompanied by an orange ‘Pacific Fruit Express’ railcar, a red water tower, and a green ‘Sunoco’ branded oil derrick.
