Description
Standard gauge. A MTH Electric Trains ‘Tinplate Traditions’ Ives Standard Gauge reproduction circus train set. Brand new condition. This comprehensive set includes a black “THE IVES RAILWAY LINES” 190E steam locomotive and tender, alongside various “THE IVES RAILWAY CIRCUS” cars. The cars comprise flat cars with cream-colored animal cages containing miniature lions, tigers, and elephants, a red passenger car, a yellow box car, and a yellow flat car with fencing and miniature white horses ( 1 horse has 2 leg repairs). The components are constructed primarily from tinplate and plastic. Complementing the train is a colorful, multi-piece fold-out cardboard diorama depicting a bustling circus scene with tents, crowds, and performers, prominently branded “M.T.H. ELECTRIC TRAINS CIRCUS.” A significant portion of the train set remains in its original “TINPLATE TRADITIONS By M.T.H.
