No. 1471WS Freight Train Outfit, The set features a black steam locomotive (No. 2035) with tender (No. 6466W). Accompanying the locomotive is a collection of rolling stock, including a maroon Pennsylvania boxcar (No. 6454), a silver Sunoco two-dome tank car (No. 6465), an automatic dump car (No. 3469), a lumber car (No. 3461) with wooden logs, and a red “SP” caboose (No. 6357). Also included is a bottle of “LIONEL SMOKE PELLETS.” The lot comes with an extensive collection of original cardboard packaging, including the main “No. 1471WS FREIGHT TRAIN OUTFIT” box and individual car boxes. A large brown shipping box marked “MADE IN U. S. OF AMERICA”. A substantial amount of period paperwork, comprising operating instructions, advertising inserts, and service guides, is also present.
