Description
A pair of Lionel postwar O-gauge model locomotives, specifically the 2383 Santa Fe F3 A-unit set. This set consists of one powered unit and one non-powered dummy unit. Both locomotives feature injection-molded plastic bodies with die-cast metal chassis and trucks. The livery is the traditional Santa Fe Warbonnet scheme, consisting of red and silver paint with yellow accents. The sides are marked with SANTA FE in black lettering, along with the text BUILT BY LIONEL and a small GM logo towards the rear. The front of each unit includes illuminated number boards displaying the model number 2383 and a circular Santa Fe nose emblem. Technical features standard for this model include an E-unit for directional control, a dual-motor drive in the powered unit, an internal horn, and operating couplers. Both units retain their roof-mounted horns and side porthole windows.
