Description
This collection of O-gauge model train components was produced by Lionel during the postwar period. The items are constructed from a combination of die-cast metal and molded plastic. The group includes a Lionel No. 621 diesel switcher locomotive in blue with yellow lettering and a die-cast chassis. Freight cars include a Lionel No. 64361 Lehigh Valley hopper car in black, a Lionel No. 646825 New Haven boxcar in orange and black, and a Lionel No. 3530 EMD Electro-Mobile power car in blue with an opening side door and markings dated 8-56. Utility and work cars comprise a Lionel No. 6560 Bucyrus-Erie crane car with a red plastic cab and adjustable black boom, and a Lionel No. 611925 D.L. & W. work caboose in orange. Accessories included in the lot are a brown plastic utility pole with green wiring and a silver-toned floodlight on a red base. Standard Lionel markings and model numbers are visible on the sides of the cars.
