Description
A six-piece Lionel postwar O-gauge model train set featuring the Boston and Maine McGinnis blue and black livery. This collection is constructed with plastic bodies and die-cast metal chassis and trucks. The set includes one No. 217 powered Alco A-unit diesel locomotive, two No. 217 non-powered dummy Alco A-unit diesel locomotives, two No. 6464-475 boxcars, and one No. 6017 caboose. The Alco units feature black roofs and pilots, blue bodies, and the white and black interlocking BM logo. Cab sides are marked 217 and rear panels are marked BUILT BY LIONEL. The powered unit includes a decorative roof horn. Both No. 6464-475 boxcars feature blue bodies with black sliding doors and are marked BM 6464475, CAPY 100000, and BLT 2-57 BY LIONEL. The No. 6017 caboose has a blue body marked BOSTON and MAINE, 6017, and BUILT BY LIONEL with the interlocking railroad logo.
