Description
A vintage O gauge model train set manufactured by The Lionel Corporation, New York, identified as Outfit No. 11268. This collection includes a No. 2365 Chesapeake and Ohio GP-7 diesel locomotive featuring a blue plastic body, yellow handrails, and a die-cast chassis. The rolling stock consists of a No. 3619 Helicopter Reconnaissance Car with a red and white plastic helicopter, a No. 6501 Jet Motor Boat Transport Car carrying a white and brown jet boat, a No. 3470 Aerial Target Launching Car, a No. 3349 Turbo Missile Launching Car with a blue launching mechanism and dish accessory, and a No. 6017 Lionel Lines caboose. The items are primarily constructed from molded plastic with die-cast metal wheels and chassis components. Included track consists of various three-rail O gauge straight and curved sections, along with a remote control track section and a black controller with a red button. Accompanying literature includes an original 1962 Lionel consumer catalog, instruction sheets, and target balloon envelopes. The set is housed in its original primary cardboard box with individual orange and blue boxes for the rolling stock and a stamped brown box for the locomotive.
