Description
This Keystone Ride Em steam shovel is constructed from pressed steel with a red and grey paint scheme. The manually operated mechanism features a hand crank winch with fiber rope and wooden handle grips to control the boom and black-painted dipper bucket. A yellow and red adhesive label on the cabin side reads KEYSTONE Ride Em STEAM SHOVEL manufactured by KEYSTONE MFG CO BOSTON MASS USA. A smaller yellow decal near the crank provides instructions for the RELEASE LEVER. The upper boom retains a vertical decal depicting a child operating the toy.
