Western Models 1:43 Scale Speed of the Wind Record Car
Description
This Western Models white metal model represents the 1936 Speed of the Wind land speed record car. The vehicle is finished in a high-gloss maroon paint and features a streamlined body with external exhaust pipes, a single-seat cockpit with a clear windscreen, and capped wheels. A gold adhesive label on the end of the original cardboard box reads WMS 47 1936 SPEED OF THE WIND RECORD CAR. The box is also printed with the manufacturer name Western Models and MADE IN ENGLAND. A white adhesive label on the underside of the car includes handwritten blue ink notations reading WMS 47 1936 SPEED OF THE WIND W13EK.
