Description
This Hong Kong manufactured friction powered toy car is modeled after the mid-century Pontiac Club de Mer concept. The red molded plastic body features twin clear bubble canopies, two fixed passenger figures, and a distinctive rear dorsal fin. Silver painted trim details the wraparound front bumper and dual hood stripes, with a metal axled friction mechanism housed on the undercarriage. Friction working. Copy of Revelle model. These toys were made in Hong Kong in the 1950’s.
