Description
LEGO NASA Space Shuttle Discovery building set, model number 10283, from the Icons / Creator Expert series. This construction set consists of 2,354 pieces and builds two distinct models: the Space Shuttle Discovery and the Hubble Space Telescope. The shuttle features an opening payload bay, retractable landing gear, a cockpit with five seats, movable elevons, a Remote Manipulator System arm, and a split-flap rudder. The Hubble Space Telescope model features movable solar panels and an opening aperture hatch. The set includes two individual display stands and two printed informational plaques detailing the STS-31 mission. This lot includes the original color retail box, a white inner storage box printed with the number 6359722, and the original instruction manual.

Condition report:
Opened and disassembled condition. The components have been sorted and organized into seventeen clear resealable plastic bags.. The original instruction manual is present in its plastic sleeve and shows minimal wear. The retail box is intact with visible shelf wear, edge scuffs, and minor creasing. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
