Description
A collection of three LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes building sets, including Brainiac Attack (Set 76040), Green Lantern vs. Sinestro (Set 76025), and Batboat The Penguin Pursuit! (Set 76158). As indicated on the original packaging, Set 76040 contains 179 pieces and features minifigures for Brainiac, Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, and Superman. Set 76025 contains 174 pieces and includes Sinestro, Green Lantern, and Space Batman minifigures. Set 76158, designed for ages 4+, consists of 54 pieces and features Batman and The Penguin minifigures.
The lot includes the original boxes for all three sets, as well as the original instruction manuals. Set 76025 also includes a DC Comics promotional comic book. The sets have been disassembled and are stored in clear plastic bags that have been hand-labeled with their corresponding set numbers. Various components of the sets utilize specialized elements, such as the Super Jumper and cockpit bubbles.
Condition report:
These sets are in open-box, used condition. The building blocks are disassembled and stored in plastic bags. The original boxes show moderate shelf wear, including scuffing at the corners, surface creasing, edge wear, and some residual adhesive from tape. The instruction manuals and promotional comic book are present and intact with light evidence of handling. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
