Description
This LEGO building set from the Atlantis theme is identified as set number 8077, titled Atlantis Exploration HQ. Produced by the LEGO Group and released circa 2010, the set consists of 473 pieces. The primary build features a large red and gray mobile undersea base designed with a transformation mechanism that allows it to convert into a submarine. Significant design elements include dual rear propellers and multiple translucent neon green bubble cockpits and domes. Functional areas within the base include a laboratory station and an integrated repair bay. The set features three minifigures: Atlantis divers Ace Speedman and Dr. Jeff Fisher, along with a Manta Warrior antagonist. Accompanying the main vessel is a smaller manta-ray-themed sub-craft and a yellow collectible Treasure Key accessory. Documentation includes the two original instruction manuals. The set is presented with its original retail box.
Condition report:
The original retail box is included and shows visible shelf wear, including scuffing along the edges and corners, as well as some minor creases. The two original instruction booklets are present and appear to be in good used condition with minor handling wear. The building pieces are no longer in their factory-sealed bags and are contained loose within a plastic bag. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
