Description
This is a LEGO Star Wars construction set, specifically the Republic Cruiser, set number 7665. Released as a Limited Edition in 2007, this set was produced to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars franchise. This lot includes the original retail box and two original instruction manuals numbered 7665 1/2 and 7665 2/2. The set features a piece count of 919 and includes five minifigures, an exclusive R2-R7 astromech droid, a Republic Captain, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and a Republic Pilot. The model features various manual play functions such as an opening cockpit, detachable escape pod, rotating sensor dishes, and interior accessible compartments. The set is currently disassembled and contained within two clear plastic bags.
Condition report:
The original retail box shows significant shelf wear, including creasing across the front and back panels, corner dings, and edge wear. The instruction manuals are present with minor signs of handling and edge wear. The LEGO components are disassembled. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
