Description
This is a set manufactured by LEGO, identified as set number 8038 and titled The Battle of Endor. Released as an Exclusive Anniversary Edition, this set commemorates the 10th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars line (1999–2009). The set depicts the Imperial shield generator bunker from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. Featured components include an AT-ST walker, an Ewok catapult, and two Imperial speeder bikes. The set contains multiple minifigures including Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, Wicket, and various Imperial and Rebel soldiers. All components are made of molded plastic. Visible markings include the LEGO logo, the Star Wars logo, the set number 8038, and a circular silver anniversary logo depicting a Darth Vader helmet inscribed with LEGO STAR WARS 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY 1999 – 2009. A red banner at the bottom of the front box face reads EXCLUSIVE ANNIVERSARY EDITION. The lot includes the original retail box and two original instruction booklets. The bricks are currently disassembled and stored in two clear plastic bags.
Condition report:
This set is in used, disassembled condition. The two original instruction booklets exhibit minor wear and curling at the edges. The original retail box shows visible shelf wear, including rubbing and whitening along the edges and corners, as well as light creasing on the front and back panels. The original owner, an adult collector, was organized and careful to keep all the sets complete.
