Description
This Lionel O and O27 gauge diesel locomotive set represents the Pennsylvania Railroad in an A-B-A configuration. The set is comprised of three units featuring plastic bodies with die-cast metal chassis and die-cast trucks, finished in authentic Tuscan Red paint with metallic gold markings. The lead unit is a powered A-unit, cab number 8970, featuring dual Pullmor motors and eight-wheel drive. The second unit is a matching non-powered A-unit, cab number 8971. The third component is a non-powered B-unit, numbered 8060 on the body. Technical features of the lead engine include transformer-controlled forward-neutral-reverse operation, a working headlight, illuminated number plates, and operating knuckle couplers. The set includes its original packaging: a window box for the two A-units (item number 6-8970) and a separate box for the B-unit (item number 6-8060). Original styrofoam inserts and a Lionel Service Stations document are present.
