Description
This lot features a pair of vintage HO scale electric model train sets manufactured by Lima Models in Vicenza, Italy, as part of their Golden Series line. The first set is the Trans Europ Express Cisalpin Gottardo, model number 149812. It consists of four cars in a cream and red livery: two end cars with driver cabs and two intermediate cars, including one power car with roof-mounted pantographs. The set is housed in its original pictorial box with a styrofoam insert and includes the original multi-language instruction sheet and a sealed bag of plastic detail parts. The second set is a TGV (Train a Grande Vitesse) high-speed train, model number 149711 GP. It includes four cars in the original orange, white, and dark grey livery: two end power cars and two intermediate passenger cars marked for first and second class. The box indicates the set features operating pantographs for use with catenary systems. This set is housed in its original blue window box with a styrofoam insert. Both sets feature plastic bodies with metal and plastic components. Visible markings include the Lima logo and Golden Series branding on the boxes, as well as model number labels and Made in Italy stamps. The TGV box retains a vintage retailer sticker from Eisenbahn-Center in Zurich.
