Description
This collection consists of thirteen boxed Lima model railway items produced in Italy, representing British Rail locomotives and rolling stock in OO gauge. The models feature plastic bodies with metal wheels and components. The locomotive selection includes a Class 87 electric locomotive named City of London (87005) in InterCity Executive livery (item 20 5214) and a Class 47 diesel locomotive named Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (47716) in ScotRail blue and gray livery (item 205037). Also included are three InterCity 125 High Speed Train power cars in Executive and Swallow liveries (items 20 5199, 20 5197L, and 205181A1). The passenger rolling stock comprises an InterCity Pullman coach named Sir Stanley Matthews (item 305368A1), an Inter-City Sleeper coach (item 30 5385), and several Mark 2 and Mark 3 coaches in various InterCity liveries (items 305390, 305392, 305393, 305369A1, and 205080L). The set also contains two SuperSprinter unit coaches in blue and white livery (item 205051A2). Each item is housed in its original Lima window display box, featuring either the red and blue or gray and red graphic designs. Several boxes retain original retail price stickers from Hamleys of London.
