Description
This lot consists of a pair of precision model electric locomotives manufactured by Roco, representing the modern Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) Class 1116 Taurus engines. Both models are constructed with plastic bodies, die-cast metal chassis, and intricate metal detailing including roof-mounted pantographs. The first locomotive, bearing running number 91 81 1116 276-7 A-ÖBB, features a commemorative blue livery celebrating 25 Jahre Österreich in der EU (25 Years of Austria in the EU). The graphics include yellow EU stars, a globe, and text promoting the European Green Deal. The second locomotive, running number 91 81 1116 233-8 A-ÖBB, carries the Mit der Bahn in den Winter (By Train into the Winter) tourism livery, featuring imagery of mountains, the Austrian flag, and logos for Salzburger Land and Saalbach. Both models are housed in their original blue Roco presentation boxes, each featuring a specialized decorative outer sleeve that matches the respective locomotive livery. Factory-sealed bags containing additional detailing parts are included with each engine.
