Description

A collection of four vintage postwar-era Lionel model train accessories, each with its original cardboard storage box. Manufactured by The Lionel Corporation of New York and Chicago, these items are constructed primarily of molded plastic with metal components and electrical wiring.

The collection includes a No. 445 Operating Switch Tower featuring cream-colored clapboard siding, a green hipped roof, and red exterior stairs and base. Two miniature figures are visible in the upper windows. The associated box is printed in blue ink and includes a price marking of $7.95 and handwritten notations "SB" and "C-II".

The No. 193 Water Tower with Blinker Light consists of a tall black lattice trestle supporting a silver-finished tank topped with a red light housing. The base is light tan plastic with an integrated green utility shed.

The No. 132 Illuminated Station features a white station building with a green roof and a maroon base. It is attached to a platform with a black fence displaying lithographed advertisements for Rival Dog Food, Sunoco, Baby Ruth, and Airex.

The No. 257 Station with Horn is a passenger station building with white walls, green trim, and a maroon base, designed with an internal horn mechanism.
