Description
A collection of vintage O and O27 gauge model railroad accessories manufactured by The Lionel Corporation. several trackside structures, operating accessories, and signage sets, many accompanied by their original orange and blue cardboard boxes.
The collection includes a No. 93 Water Tank featuring a silver-painted tank with a Lionel Trains decal, supported by a grey die-cast trestle on a red-painted metal base. The No. 1045 Operating Watchman comprises a figure in a dark blue uniform holding a lantern, situated on a red metal base next to a Railroad Crossing crossbuck sign; this item includes its original instruction envelope. A No. 89 Flagpole is present, consisting of a metal pole on a tan plastic or composition base with green accents, flying a 48-star fabric American flag and a blue Lionel pennant. Electrical accessories include a No. 148 Dwarf Signal with a tan base and black housing.
Bridge components consist of three metal plate girder bridges. One black bridge is marked U.S. Steel and Lionel with the number 6418. A second black bridge is marked Lionel, and a third grey bridge is also marked Lionel. These correspond to No. 214 and No. 314 models.
Two boxed signage sets: a No. 308 Railroad Sign Set containing various yellow and white plastic trackside signs, and a No. 309 Yard Set containing white plastic safety and yard signs including Stop and Yard Limit markers. Materials used throughout the collection include die-cast metal, tin-plate, and various plastics.
