Description
This collection of vintage O gauge model trains and accessories was manufactured by The Lionel Corporation of New York. The lot is centered around a No. 2037 die-cast 2-6-4 steam locomotive with a corresponding black 6026W tender featuring white Lionel Lines lettering. Includes a group of operating cattle cars, consisting of several No. 3656 models in orange plastic, including one variant with an Armour refrigerator car logo, and a No. 6656 model in yellow plastic. The rolling stock is constructed with molded plastic bodies on metal chassis with either die-cast or plastic trucks. Also included is a No. 3656 operating stockyard accessory featuring a green-painted sheet metal base and a cream-colored plastic fence structure. The set is accompanied by an assortment of original cardboard packaging, including multiple boxes for the No. 3656 operating cattle car, small boxes for No. 3656-9 cattle figures, and a box base marked No. 3656-34. Original boxes minor wear.
