Description
A collection of vintage Lionel postwar O-gauge model train components comprising Outfit No. 1505WS, a freight train set featuring whistle and smoke capabilities. Manufactured by The Lionel Corporation of New York, the set includes a No. 2046 die-cast 4-6-4 Hudson-type steam locomotive with Magne-Traction and a No. 2046W whistling tender marked Lionel Lines. The freight car assortment consists of a silver No. 6464 Western Pacific boxcar with blue lettering and the Rides like a Feather slogan, a black No. 6462 New York Central gondola with a six-piece wooden barrel load, a silver No. 6415 Sunoco triple-dome tank car, and a red No. 6357 Southern Pacific caboose. Electrical and track components include a No. 1033 90-watt multi-control transformer and a No. 6019 remote control track section box. The collection is accompanied by its original cardboard master outfit box and individual orange and blue pictorial boxes for most components. Included ephemera consists of a Lionel Service Stations booklet, an instruction sheet for steam-type locomotives, and a small glass vial containing smoke pellets with a wooden tamper.
