Description
This set consists of four Lionel O-gauge Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) passenger cars, each housed in its original factory packaging. The collection includes a variety of aluminum and heavyweight series models decorated in the signature C&O blue, yellow, and silver/gray color scheme.
The aluminum series cars comprise the 6-19145 Aluminum Combo Car and the 6-19149 Gadsby Kitchen Aluminum Dining Car. These models are constructed from aluminum with die-cast metal trucks and die-cast operating knuckle couplers. Each includes an illuminated interior with passenger silhouettes. They are packaged in blue and red Lionel Electric Trains boxes. The dining car box includes a secondary retailer sticker marked 6-19164.
The heavyweight series cars comprise the 6-19090 (Car No. 2573) Heavyweight Diner Car and the 6-19091 (Car No. 2574) Heavyweight Observation Car. These models feature injection-molded plastic bodies with metal frames and metal grab irons. Specifications include detailed underframes, flexible diaphragms, spring-loaded opening doors, and illuminated interiors with silhouette windows. They are equipped with Pullman-style six-wheel die-cast metal trucks and magnetic couplers, requiring a minimum radius of O-54. These cars are housed in large orange Lionel boxes.
All items show clearly legible manufacturer markings, model numbers, and barcodes on the original packaging.
